CALTRANS DOESN'T WANT JAMUL TO ATTEND THIS MEETING...

Caltrans says this is how they think hwy 94 can handle thousands more cars, buses, and trucks to and from a casino, bars, restaurants, entertainment venues — 24 hours a day — 7 days a week

THE ONLY PUBLIC MEETING CALTRANS WILL HOLD IS TODAY
Wednesday, August 5th —  5pm To 8pm
Cottonwood Golf Course  3121 Willow Glen Dr. El Cajon
(Open House Style — Just stop by and leave your comments)

Caltrans will tightly control all the information you get at this "meeting." They will set up small Information booths designed to prevent more than just 2-3 people from hearing from anyone else but them.
But they must take your comments.  It's the law.  AND THE COMMENTS ARE ADDED TO THE RECORD.  SO...

  • Write comments.
  • Voice record verbal comments.
  • Ask questions.

REMINDER: Caltrans will only accept comments regarding SR 94. Comments attacking the Penn/JIV casino project will not help. Caltrans does not care that Penn/JIV is building a casino and how that project is damaging our community. All comments must attack the proposed mitigation that Caltrans is proposing that is completely inadequate and that Penn/JIV are not paying their fair share.
ADMIN NOTE: I have posted the JAC document with excerpts from CalTrans here. These are the ideas and comments CalTrans does not want you to hear at the meeting.  It is  very helpful for any comments you may write or record.
