CALFIRE tweeted this afternoon that a large fire is burning in Mexico, about 20 miles south of the border. It is putting up a large plume of smoke which can be seen to the south-south west from Lyons Peak. <http://hpwren.ucsd.edu/cameras/LyonsPeak.html> CalFire says they are watching the fire and it currently poses no risk to our side of the border line.
