Another brushfire erupted today near near the Thousand Trails (Pio Pico) Campground on Otay Lakes Road. There have been four previous fires in the same area during the last several weeks. Many thanks to Linda Raeber, who first alerted us to the situation, Sharon Gladding, Ariele Johannson, and Jacob Huggins who helped provide additional information. Jacob is currently at Thousand Trails, and just sent these photos. It was awfully close, and he said campers were on evacuation alert.
