Raptors.... Up Close and Personal!
Raptor expert, Nancy Conney, made a repeat visit to Deerhorn Valley yesterday. What a treat to see such incredible creatures so close. She carefully tailored her presentation to our local raptors, and we had wonderful interactions with a red-tailed hawk, kestrel, barn owl, and tiny screech owl among others. Paul and Dianne Jacob attended, along with some eighty residents. The shaded patio was filled, and the setting could not have been more perfect. There was lots of neighbor talking and sharing after... a wonderful event for all.
