HONEY SPRINGS DOG PONDS UPDATE

  • SAN DIEGO -- A plan to train hunting dogs to retrieve water [fowl] has turned into a major worry for some homeowners in Jamul. While building a couple of new ponds may sound harmless to many, some Jamul homeowners learned the project would take hundreds of thousands of gallons of well water to fill those ponds. The issue is raising concern over what would happen to residents' groundwater....
