SURPRISE DUSTING OF APRIL SNOW...

What a difference a day makes!  A late winter storm system puttered through San Diego County leaving rain and snow flurries behind.  Our local wildflowers (these are miniature lupine) received an unexpected dusting on Friday night.
Miniature lupine seem to take it all in stride
The ceanothus like cool winters and long spring rains.  The bees would prefer a bit more sun and warmth.
