Thank you to twenty four area residents who are signed up and ready for Saturday's Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) workshop. A maximum of 31 attendees can be accommodated. Presently, there is room for 7 more attendees. Reserve your space today by opening the above attachment. Register on-line or by phone.

A powerful, educational, all-day workshop on FIRE OPERATIONS IN THE WILDLAND-URBAN INTERFACE will be hosted by the Outer Jamul Fire Safe Council on Saturday, June 23, 8:00AM to 3:30PM at Fire Station 37, 2383 Honey Springs Road.
This is a unique opportunity. Workshop offered one time only this year.  Learn what firefighters learn to protect our homes and Outer Jamul communities. 

The workshop is FREE, but limited to 31 people. Light breakfast and hearty lunch provided. Register early and please commit to the whole day. 
Open to all residents 18 years and older.

  • 8:30AM-Noon: Classroom instruction. 
  • NOON: Lunch. 
  • 1PM-2:30PM: Field Trip to two local- area homes for practice site assessment. 
  • 2:30PM-3:30PM Classroom debriefing and discussion
