Wildland Fire Behavior — Focus on Deerhorn Valley

SATURDAY, MAY 16th
Tom Lamb, president of our local Fire Safe Council, says the Fire Behavior Workshop next Saturday is only half-full with DV'ers, so they are opening it up to the larger community. Last year's program was XLNT, according to all that attended. Even if you went through the 2007 fire and have attended a lot of post=fire workshops, this is different. It's limited to 28 people, there is no cost to you, and it includes beverages, snacks, and lunch. An afternoon field trip to nearby properties will help you know where we're most vulnerable and the best prep we can take for making our homes defensible. This is much more than just defensible space requirements!

Here's the flyer with the contact info. I'll be there, and I'm really looking forward to it. —Kim
