LOOKS LIKE BIG RAIN IS BACK IN THE FORECAST!

WEATHER SPEAK FROM NAT'L WEATHER SERVICE:
"All models now showing areas of light rain beginning early Tuesday morning. Coverage and intensity will increase throughout Tuesday with most areas seeing a 3-6 hour period of moderate to heavy rain Tuesday afternoon."
1-2 inches of rain are forecast in the coastal and valley zones. 2-4 inches are forecast in the mountains with higher amounts in excess of 5 inches locally.
A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for Tuesday through early Wednesday morning.  3-hour flash flood guidance values are quite high (over 2") but the potential exists for flooding from the long duration steady moderate to heavy rain with this pattern."
