Sure feels like some spring days are poking through here in Upper Deerhorn. But naaaa... it's still January, and in 2012 we had a freeze and snow in April. I still like to pick up the seed catalogs and imagine what the squirrels won't get this year.
Here's something that looks good: The County is offering a free composting workshop in El Cajon (not all that far!) at the Crestwood Ecological Preserve. Great way to get started for this year's garden. Click the pic for a larger (readable) view.
