NWS ISSUES HEAT WARNING

San Diego's National Weather Service has issued an "Excessive Heat Watch" for Sunday morning through Wednesday afternoon. Expect record or near record heat during the day followed by warm nights.

Take extra precautions when you're outside. Try to schedule activities during morning or early evening and drink plenty of water. Don't forget, your pets will be thirsty. Check their water often. Be sure when you get a drink they can too.

Its gonna be a scorcher folks with high fire danger. Be careful, be alert, above all be safe.
