Winter Weather Advisory: Low Snow Elevation

...VERY LOW ELEVATION SNOW POSSIBLE LATE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...

FRIDAY 2:10 PM: 
The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a winter weather advisory above 2000 feet for snow...which is in effect from 2 am to 5 pm PDT Sunday. 
  • Elevation: Above 2000 feet. 
  • Snow levels will rapidly fall to around 2000 feet late Saturday night and early Sunday morning.  
  • Snow accumulations: Up to 2 inches.  
  • Timing: Early Sunday morning through Sunday afternoon. 
  • Locations include: Potrero...Beaumont...Yucaipa...Ramona [ED NOTE: Deerhorn Valley area is included]
Impacts: Residents and travelers into the higher foothills of the inland empire and the San Diego County valleys should be prepared for hazardous winter weather conditions and possible road closures. 
Travel will likely be impacted on Interstate 15 through the Cajon Pass...on Interstate 10 through the Banning...on Interstate 8...and on Highway 78 late Saturday night and at times on Sunday.
