SEE SMOKE? CONTROL BURNS TODAY AND TOMORROW...
For the next two days (November 9-10, 2010) CAL FIRE will be burning brush piles on the Corte Madera Ranch South of Pine Valley. Smoke will be visible from throughout the Eastern portions of San Diego County. Weather permitting the burn will begin at approximately 10 am and completed by 2pm. This is an ongoing Vegetation Management Plan.

FIRE WEATHER FORECAST 11/4/2010
TODAY: Gusty east winds and low humidities
Very warm, dry w/15-25 mph winds, gusts to 35-40 mph in mountain passes. Strongest winds are in Riverside & San Diego County mountains. Relative humidities in the teens with poor recovery overnight.
Friday cooler with a slight increase in humidites.
Saturday/Sunday humidities increase significantly west of the mountains as Pacific Trough moves across SoCal. Marine layer will reach valleys and foothills Saturday night with drizzle possible by Sunday morning.
Sunday night: another trough will keep a deep marine layer in place through Monday morning.
